EXCLUSION REQUEST FROM

DOOR-TO-DOOR SOLICITATION LISTING

Wenham residents are advised that a By-Law regulating peddling and soliciting within Wenham Town boundaries is in effect.  The following rules shall apply to this By-Law.

Residents who prefer not to be solicited may complete an “Exclusion from Solicitation Request” form available at the Wenham Police Department or simply return the following request.  Upon receipt of the request, the police department will place your address on a “No Solicitation” list which is given to solicitors and peddlers who receive soliciting permits from the Wenham Police Department.  It shall be a condition of issuance, continuance in good standing and renewal that licensees refrain from soliciting households on the current “No Solicitation List”.

The By-Law does not apply to religious organizations, fraternal organizations, charitable, benevolent, or political activities.

EXCLUSION FROM SOLICITATION REQUEST

I REQUEST THAT MY ADDRESS BE INCLUDED ON THE “No Solicitation List” that is provided to solicitors that are permitted by the Wenham Police Department engaged in canvassing activities.  It is my understanding the list will include only my address and no additional information.
